Gary joined Lunova Group following a distinguished 32-year career with Vesuvius, where he most recently served as CEO of Vesuvius USA and President of the company’s global Linings Division. He has extensive industrial management experience including numerous international assignments.
Gary is an excellent team-builder and has hired, trained, and developed many successful managers in his career with Vesuvius. His experience is a valuable asset to our clients as they seek to grow and develop new talent for their management teams. His focus with Lunova is on executive recruiting, organizational consulting, and mentoring.
Gary is an active member of the Bethany College Board of Trustees and is a supporter of many local charities.
Mike began his career as an account executive for Schindler Elevator Corporation in New York City. At Schindler, he was consistently ranked as one of the top sales reps in the country due to his focus on building customer relationships and providing long term solutions to customer needs. Mike brings that same focus to his role at Lunova Group, dedicating his time to understanding the needs of our clients, and the people that will drive their organizations. Mike is a graduate of Alfred University with a degree in Business Administration and is an active member of the Urban Impact, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh, and Entrepreneuring Youth.
Director of Recruitment
Christine began her recruiting career in Rochester, NY where she spent 6 years with AP Professionals. In 2009 she transitioned to the Pittsburgh area and joined Lunova Group.
As the Director of Recruitment at Lunova Group, she is committed to the integrity, reliability and customer focus that has made her successful in the past.
She is dedicated to continually giving back to the community and is involved with the United Way of Allegheny County, Beverly’s Birthdays, and The Bradley Center.
Christine has a degree in Marketing and Economics from Saint John Fisher College and lives in Beaver County with her husband and three sons.
Marketing and Research Manager
Beth is a graduate of Geneva College, where she studied Business with a concentration in Marketing and finished in the top 5% of her class. She began her career as a Strategic Business Planner at Siemens Industry, Inc. in Cranberry Township, PA. Beth made the transition to recruiting by joining Lunova Group in June of 2011.
In August of 2015, Beth moved back to her hometown of Lewisburg, PA and works remotely full-time for Lunova. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, baking, wine-tasting, and spending lots of time with her niece. She is a enthusiastic supporter of Kiva and Save the Children. Beth is also known to make a mean chocolate chip cookie.
Stacy Palas joined Lunova Group as an Account Manager in January of 2015. Prior to joining our team, Stacy spent nearly four years as a Sales Executive with CBS Television Stations in Pittsburgh where she was a consistent top performer excelling at both strategy and building long term client relationships. However, it was during her 14 years as a local business owner that Stacy gained a diversity of experience in all aspects of human resource functioning including recruiting, training, employee retention and team building for up to 50 employees at one time. It was also during this time that Stacy honed her commitment to the community in which she served by regularly donating her time and products to various local schools and organizations.
Stacy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Marketing. She continues her commitment to The Arthritis Foundation of Pittsburgh, St. Anthony’s School Programs and a local breast cancer awareness foundation. Each year, you can also find Stacy helping string lights for the annual Clinton Christmas Light Up Celebration.
Kristen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clarion University with a degree in Communications. Shortly after college, she spent five years as a Regional Sales Manager and Sales Team Leader for Franklin Industries Co., a re-rolling rail mill located in Franklin, PA. During her time there, Kristen managed and grew a territory of accounts in 25+ states, including all of Canada. It was with this company that she fully understood and continued to develop her strengths in building relationships and partnerships with clients and team members. Kristen joined the Lunova Group as a Recruiting Manager in November of 2015 and is committed to assisting candidates and clients alike.
Late evenings, you can find Kristen keeping fit as she is an avid exercise enthusiast and a regular at her local gym. In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her cat named Maggie. She resides in the Cranberry Township area of Pittsburgh.
Ashley began her recruiting career working with undergraduate and graduate students as a Recruiter and Advisor at Argosy University for 5 and a half years. Prior to that, she worked at one of Pittsburgh’s best known women’s boutiques, eb Pepper, doing high end retail sales, personal styling and event planning. In the Spring of 2016, Ashley made the full transition to recruiting for Lunova, where her dedication to learning about people and finding the right fit are her main focus.
Ashley graduated from Ohio University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History. After school she worked in the art world in Cleveland, Ohio. She made the return home to Pittsburgh in 2005. Ashley lives in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood and is still very involved in local art and cultural events and has volunteered at the Andy Warhol Museum. In her spare time, Ashley loves to take fitness classes like Pure Barre and Orange Theory and has run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon three times. She is also an animal lover and recently adopted a new dog friend named Elmer.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Dana Hoelle joined our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in September 2016. She is a graduate of The University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Communications.
She began her recruiting career in 2013 and has chosen recruiting as her profession because she loves connecting good people with good companies. Dana comes to Lunova Group with a passion for building relationships and helping people develop their careers.
Some of Dana’s specialties and interests include: recruiting/sourcing, working out, volunteering, salsa (eating not dancing), networking, cheering on Pittsburgh sports, going on cruises, and occasionally binge-watching Netflix (guilty).
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Stephanie is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh earning a BS in Business Administration with a major of Human Resource Management. When she arrived in Pittsburgh 4 years ago, she fell in love with the city and couldn’t imagine living elsewhere… although remains faithful to her Philly sports teams! Stephanie is driven and passionate about connecting others and forming meaningful relationships. Prior to Lunova, Stephanie worked as an intern for a recruiting firm and gained experience in talent acquisition within a variety of industries across the United States. In her free time, she enjoys working out, shopping and hanging out with family and friends and her Morkie puppy, Blu.
Megan Carbone joined Lunova Group as a Recruiting Manager in January of 2018. Most recently, Megan spent nearly ten years in total as a Senior Account Executive with CBS Television Stations in Pittsburgh where she managed and drove growth for 30+ accounts of local and national clients. It was during her time with CBS that she became adept at building rapport with diverse audiences and cultivating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues, global partners, and clients through a consultative approach. Megan is committed to providing that same level of expertise to her role here at Lunova.
Megan is a graduate of Duquesne University with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish. She also has a Masters of Arts degree from Point Park University in Journalism and Mass Communications. In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children and her Morkie, Squirt.
